Studying the Guadiana river

Spanish students have studied the banks of the Guadiana river in order to learn about the invasive species known as ”Camalote”. This is an aquatic plant that was thrown away from a private aquarium to the river  and now lives in the Guadiana river being very harmful to the native species of the river.

Other activity has been an introduction to the study of the birds which live on the banks of the river. There      live a lot of species of birds as purple herons, storks and ducks.
